i mean i'm ok with a toxic relationship redemption story but the person has to be a human at the start and jjk is not. he's a demon. like one of the most hateable MLs in the history of time. i'll never get over that time he called the actor over just to humiliate him and dan still doesn't know that happened.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong I'm open for redemption or someone changing for the better (depending on the crime thou) as long as it's sincere, they're taking accountable, they acknowledge the shit they did, they apologize not just for the sake of apologizing but because they reflect and acknowledge what damage the cause on someone, and does not expect something from their victims.

that's why I understand and enjoy the slow progress of the story, people like jjk won't just magically become kind or whatever the readers are expecting from him when he himself don't understand what he did wrong to Dan. If he suddenly become green flag from few interactions with Dan just for the sake of romance without realization and reflection and taking accountability that's just bad writing. That's why I'm patient with whatever I'm reading no matter how bad and campy it is lol.
