Yea, i think this story is trying to reveal how 'bad' being gay is in a conservative country like Korea. And tbh, this story is pretty realistic. The homophob*a, bullying, and politics, it's simplified but still very relatable.
Ok so i think its kind of messed up mc spit on him and ml put a post it in his mouth while he was sleeping. I dont feel bad for ML but i feel bad that just being gay can lead to your entire familys downfall. I have a feeling ml had something to do with it. I really feel bad for taeson even though he annoys me because he literally did nothing and cant even get a break when his abusers gone.
