He wasn’t actually talking shxt behind her back. Someone asked him about his feelings and he basically said that he never had the feeling where his heart raced for her. She took that and tried to hurt him by breaking up with him. The one thing he did wrong was not love her the way she wanted to be loved even though she basically made sure she had constant access to him through his own father until the natural next step to their relationship was for them to date.
