I like how Luce seems to hold his ground and not fall into the deal that they made, at least it seems that way (but when he mentioned those “feelings” that night with Elsen…), and how instead it’s the prince who is. I just don’t like that Luce has to get hurt bc of it, literally. I like the development of the story so far tho!! I’m a sucker for this type of dynamic where the mc doesnt give in to ml (so pls spoil me if that isn’t the case…)

So if someone could pls spoil me on whether:
1. Luce gives into any feelings for the prince? (Pls no)
2. Prince chasing him (pls yes) and the extent to which he chases (lol)
3. Luce gets hurt bc of any affection he holds for the prince (PLS NO)
4. Luce goes back to Vera

I haven't finished reading yet but i think I can answer your questions based on what I've read so far.

    1. Yes i would say but not easily and as u have mentioned, he stand his ground firmly and that's what i like about him too.

    2. I would say yes for that too. i don't know if you want more uhhh detail so i won't specify that. and the extent - obsessively.

    3. i am not sure if it would count as "hurt bc of any affection".... yes both physically and mentally.

    4. Yes. i am currently reading that arc

i don't know if my answers satisfied you tho. if not, i am sorry for saying like "i would say, i am not sure" coz I am reading raw novel with mtl and i also don't know to which extent you wanna get spoiled.

NOoo thank you so much omg. That’s all the info I neededd tysm!! And I’m fine with getting majorly spoiled lol
From other people’s comments, they say that the novel is frustrating to read, so would you think that the story is worth that frustration?

Some people here said it's frustrating maybe because of redemption arc??? if it is, i am not sure about that coz redemption happen in vera arc and i only reach 1/3 of vera arc currently. but imo so far, it's a good read to me. I am quite familiar with toixc trait stories so i distance myself emotionally when i read that kind of stories. So it is quite worth for me to read, especially more so because of luce and kasha. Really love both of them.

love the fact that Luce taught ml some lesson. I would also love to see how kasha will look like since i imagininng him lik qi rong from tgcf... i mean like having loose hair and stuff. Also i will say kasha is spicy XD he is opposite of luce and really care for him. Since As for ML... well he is as red as his hair.

    ***SPOILER WARNING***

I finished the novel. If you have a high tolerance for very vague and open ending then the frustration might be worth it. I wouldn't exactly call it an redemption arc honestly, it is more of a chasing arc. They do have a turning out in their relationship, but they remained quite flawed as in their innate traits do not change, especially Ail's. He will still be unreasonable and unfair, he is still the same crazy bastard but the difference is that Ruth is willing to accept this and knows that even if he has thoughts of running away, he will still return.
