I’m trying to find something I read a while ago, but I can’t remember the name. I need help tracking it down. What I remember is that it followed a girl who worked hard every day, juggling multiple jobs just to get by. She lived alone in a rundown apartment and had short, curly purple hair. She actually came from a wealthy family, but after her parents died, her uncle blamed her for their deaths. Overwhelmed, she spiraled—dropping out of school, cutting her hair, distancing herself from her friends, and eventually enrolling in a different school.
