Its not entirely unnecessary I'd say. They both had huge emotions they needed to let out and fight the injustice served to them. However since it wasn't time yet, Goh took it out on people especially Saein and bc Saein had no power to deal with the director he also ended up taking it out on Goh. This is the kind of toxic situation often seen in people who both have baggage to deal with, they either go up in flames or lick eo's wounds. They have hurted eo enough and now they have realized they aren't eo's enemy and band together to take down the pharma and HJ corp once and for all.
Imma keep saying these unpopular opinions. I still feel like this whole revenge arc was unnecessary and I'm glad it's over. I don't understand what he even needed revenge for. When he was there to be a spy to help bring down and ruin the prosecutor in the 1st place. I feel like both characters did things that werent the best and arent proud of. I'm just ready for them to get back together. Look at his baby bump for a couple chapters. Hopefully the baby be born cute and all well ends well.
