I completely agree. I haven't read the novel but while reading the story. I haven't blame Karas once because I understand he was a product of his environmental & tbh he still turn out better than most because he still has his sanity and is still able to show some compassion. Which we learned when his friend said he saved that guy at 17 and is constantly risking his life for not only bad soldiers like him but for the kingdom. Cause ain't no way I would be out there saving anyone if anything I would've been a complete villian and menace. Burning everything down!
Guys I understand why you dislike karas because of the novel readers revealing that the manhwa toned down the violence but I think we all should understand that karas had been abused since birth especially by his own mom, it's hard for him to see human beings as idk decent? He lived in an environment so cruel to the point he grew up far more violent. Abel was the person he felt the most comfort with but in the end he lost him at such a young age, and what's more worse, his own mother littarly ripped both his original eyes out and of course it would make him feel such agonizing pain. He was just a kid at that time as well. Although I feel bad for the innocent hostages, I still understand why he'd be like this
