Absolutely has to be Unsleep.
On the surface it just seems like a silly feel good story between two characters who banter a lot. But the level of details the author weaves in and lets the reader discover and piece together about the the mc and ml is in my humble opinion absolutely unmatched.
There is a constant palpable sense of love shown by the ml and there’s so many panels where such examples are easily missed. And the author has also gotten flack for not knowing how to draw something but it turns out that it wasn’t the author, it was the mc himself. It was hinted at but I myself wasn’t sure until it was confirmed in the authors note this morning. Above all these little hidden details is already a fantastic story about two characters who are funny and dumb and in love in a way I have never seen before.
To me, this is absolute PEAK.
