Yaoi producers tend to use a lot of handsome boys in their work, that is extractly girls want to read and enjoy. After all, we can enjoy double numbers of good-looking men in BL manga. :-P

Girls also need to find ways to express their sex impulse, but for those who fear of seeing the picture of girls making love with boys, they turn to BL manga/anime. Well now I am perfectly OK with the scene of M/W doing sex, but sometime I found it unacceptable to watch some AV for those male are so rude to the girl in the movie:-0
3.BL provides a utopia-style world for romance
Sometimes I found girls reading BL manga or watching BL anime are not merely because they want to see two handsome men filerting with each other, but girl really want an imagination of 'pure love'. BL is such a ideal world, at there people are extremely tolerent to men's love:-D, even when they confess their sexual-oriantation to their parents, they just seems perfectly OK! :-D And some 世界観 of BL just based on a world where everyone love menXD
4. BL genre is a highly developed style
I still remember when I started reading yaoi work, it was a fiction. At that time, most of the Yaoi seems to end with very sad ending( either of the charater may die or they eventually will departure..) That is just posed a great impact on my heart T_TOMG
