ok so i just reread the scene. I think the bottom definitely overstepped, but the top made it very clear when enough was enough. it wasnt about not wanting any sex, it was the bottom using rough sex and pain to make his emotions better that the top didnt like. it also helps that they were already dating and they allowed sexual contact at that point, rather than him doing this to a stranger. they had set boundaries and were already familiar with eachother. i think the bottom was in the wrong, but rape is a very violent term, and i dont think i would call it that.

This is more just a case of pushing personal boundaries, I wouldn't call it rape.. I also really hate noncon and am particularly sensitive but this could be much much worse. There was no malicious intent, and both parties were interested in sexual contact. One was just doing something the other didn't like, and that created a disconnect. if yall cant handle a misunderstanding pls never ever read anything with bdsm because every relationship has these, and sm especially is prone to figuring out your partners tastes and boundaries. accidents happen. this is why we communicate like they did. theres other things the bottom does which i do think are bad however. he has a control problem and oversteps in various ways
Why does no one talk about the rape scene in chapter 60. If it was the other way around, you guys would be complaining. Such a petty because I thought this was actually pretty good.
