i am so glad it looks like they're not going to make the ml as unhinged as he is in the novel and i know this is probably an unpopular opinion but i just couldn't move past him killing innocent people including children in the novel. I KNOW that there's a reason he's like that and all the trauma he endured but it gave me the ick when i read it lmao
