ik a lot of s*x workers go down that path because of CSA, but i feel like if its used for fiction it should at least be written correctly. and like another reply said they show the scenes too, personally i think thats a bit odd when they show those parts.
the 'sexually abused as a child' to 'gay sex worker' pipeline needs to be studied. a coping mechanism? sure, but then write it properly? it just feels like an excuse, especially when written as 'i became gay after getting raped by a man when i was just a child with an underdeveloped brain to even process the situation'. using sexual abuse on a child as their gay awakening is sick.
