He made the machine to find tickets that havent been checked in. The two the guildleader used were scanned and chrckrd in but the 2 in mcs inventory werent. The guy made the machine to find the tickets that were sold illegally to ppl after they were stolen. He was trying to get the machine to work before the event so he could find stolen tickets (the mc and ml came early to the event)
