Actually I don’t think that’s true here. When a person has Stockholm syndrome, they are genuinely attached to the abuser. They think they have some strong connection with them. In this case, Dan knows this is wrong and is actively trying to get away from Jaekyung. Dan’s letting Jaekyung have his way purely to pay off his debt. Dan isn’t actively trying to stick with Jaekyung nor does he want anything to do with him.
