I didn’t realize that authors ever thought of giving us that second option as endgame. They always make that second guy sooo much better but then friendzone him. I also would like some recs.

Exactly! I just want to read some stories where they actually make the obvious smart choice. The second guy almost always has more sincere feelings for the MC too AND treats them well, so it pisses me off when they go with the guy who treated them like crap 99% of the time.
I think I’ve only read like 1 story where they made the right choice, but I have no clue what the name was
