TRUEEE and some ppl blame the artist for change in artstyle
That's why I wanted to say the artist is just doing their job...the art in the manhwa is already spectacular and beautiful like the way the kurkans are drawn? Their traditional outfits? The details? Omg..so beautiful and literally our eyes are blessed every chapter..honestly I'm so grateful this was the artist chosen for this manhwa bcuz it's done beautifully..so I hope we can put the size thing behind us and move on. And have more appreciation about the rest of the scenes drawn like the scenery of the dessert too just wow
bruh it's not about the size but the anatomy, anatomy ≠ size
we are talking about how stiff & not flowy the body is, compared before
he's literally big in the first chapters and it doesn't change even in the recent chapters, the thing that changed is the "stiffness" of the anatomy, it looks awkward (as someone who also draw)
and it's not a bad thing to criticize something, it well help the author/artist to do grow better as an artist (tho they can't read it here)
Bruh when did I ever say size = anatomy?.. I only mentioned size AND anatomy bcuz comments were about "body proportions being weird"..
I keep seeing comments about size and anatomy proportions and I want to highlight the fact that it was MEANT to be drawn that way. We've known for a fact that kurkans are closest to beast beings..they're not the normal humans..ppl refer to them as savages and as "human beasts" their sizes are depicted to that of giants..big, tall and muscular. We've seen how the kurkans who saw Leah said she was so small and tiny while basically towering over her..and even Genin is hella muscular and big for a woman..well she is a warrior..so imagine THE king of Kurkans?! Its obvious Isha khan will be 10x the size of Leah...so the artist is just going by the description of the novel to depict this size contrast between kurkans and normal human size.
And it's even more noticeable for us bcuz Leah is soo skinny due to that horrible diet she was following..preventing her from eating even normal portions..so when we see the two of them together...it goes without saying that the size and proportions are gonna reflect a huge gap for us viewers and I've come to accept it bcuz I know kurkans are like giants...since they're close to beast beings. Let's keep that in mind next time..if this makes you feel uncomfortable then move on...bcuz I'm here for the plot and their journey of being happy together.
