Same!!! Idk if it’s how the novel is actually written or if it’s just the adaptation, but it’s so slow and uneventful… I really think I’ve been frustrated after every chapter for the past year because it feels like absolutely nothing ever happens. I’m intrigued with the story which is why I’m still here but I hope it actually starts progressing the story now, but I won’t be surprised if the slowness continues
I literally left this to marinate months ago...and yet I feel like I'm still at the same level of knowledge as the first time I read this...and the thing is it's not even a "slow burn" it's just slow there's no burning. oh well
