Meant to downvote but for some reason it upvoted. I just wanted to say that one of those upvotes should be a downvote. Again, not a fan of the magician, idgaf if he seems like a good dude he’s still a CREEP. Remember: she JUST turned 18, and he’s been after her since she was 17. I was grossed out at the thought of dating an 18 year-old at 20 because, like, that’s still a high schooler!!

Also adding that I’m 22 now. My disgust at the thought of dating someone 18 has gotten even stronger since then, obviously. I know someone who is 27 who had a situationship with someone 22 and was like “I know he’s a bit young for me.” If someone who is 27 thinks someone who is 22 is a bit young, now think of someone a year younger than that wanting to date someone WHO ISNT EVEN AN ADULT. Anyone who is 26 and going after someone 17 deserves prison. Anyone who is 26 and going after someone 18, imo, also deserves prison. There isn’t some magic change that suddenly turns someone into an adult between 17 and 18, those are just numbers prescribed to keep creeps from going younger. Everything is relative.

Writing this very long comment because I have come across so many people being like “bUt iT’s LeGaL” in comment sections and want to clarify now that legality means jack shit, y’all are weird af if you think that something being legal automatically means it isn’t creepy or wrong.
