Yes! I was also thinking about it. In the webnovel as far as i remember the magical item of adaline was tampered or fake and she couldn't escape. She was so shocked at that moment. I came back here just to see their downfall but that ch made me disappointed. I thought maybe i forgot the story.
I don't get why they thought they could negotiate with her. She kidnapped lily cursed her AND threw her down into a pit from which she would never be able to escape for good measure. Thats fucking psycho
