It's always been just one of those "because my mom said so" at home
I once asked her why and she only answered "it's more hygienic". We (my brother and I) don't really agree but well... we can't oppose her and it's already a habit

I’m lowkey confused about the person that eats the squids are they a female or a male bc I remember him saying she to them but then the toilet lid being up is like a man thing so now I’m confused
