I think five times. She died by something else once I think and also sacrificed herself for him once.
I think he isn’t stable and just because he suddenly cares, doesn’t mean he won’t kill her next second.
I’m not worried about him killing her at all. He already figured out his feelings. I’m mad he left her unprotected for the coming years. I’m mad she is alone with two possessive psychos.
I don’t even think ML is “unstable “ anymore, I just think he made a really stupid plan that he thinks will benefit Fl because then he can protect her with an invincible body without taking into account the new traumas she will experience in his absence.
I don’t know why you had any expectations of him, I think author lowered the expectations of readers enough to accept anything. The bar isn’t even in hell anymore, it’s much lower than that.
What are you even talking about?? I adore the story outside of this one aspect. You sound like you don’t even like this or read past the first chapters. The author went out of their way to show how Fl and ml are traumatized and grew to trust and know each other. The bar is fine.
Plus this story has things like Slavery and sins of the parents passed down. If anything they are jumping over the bar. She refuses to treat him like a slave and he doesn’t blame her for her parent’s actions anymore. Is that what you meant by low bar? Sorry if I’m coming off too aggressively. Shes not a baby she can survive on her own like she did the other seven times. Shes proven that she is smart enough to survive given the only person killing her in the end is Sion. He knows that she is strong enough to be okay till he comes back
He cares but it’s just that, he was killed when he was just a kid and only experienced family love. So he doesn’t even know that it’s different kind of love and just protecting her like a family. He’ll come to realize it soon, which is way better than the ML realizing it now(づ￣ ³￣)づ
