Ive read the novel, its very short btw. Anyhow i love how kay isnt like ur regular helpless bott. Kay knows he is helplessly in a cage but he is aware that zigril is a deffo red flag ofc he ends up with zigril but upon waking up he will tries to runaway and even after marriage, he still constantly refuses zigril advances although we all know zigril will always use threats on kay. But i love how kay never falters, despite marrying and having his child, he never love zigril although he admit zigril isnt repulsive, but kay’s instincts to live is higher than who he ends up with coz he’s survived from his childhood tragedy. Unlike some other bott who went absolute blind for red flag or confusing force/rape is love, kay is surprisingly very rational
