Idk I feel like in order for Penelope to survive she has to harm herself. Like on the first time she had like to eat the soup that Idk something bad, she can't even say anything to defend herself but to just eat it.
Same with the poison and other things.
It's just so frustrating how nothing she'd say will be believed unless she harms herself. It's just like in irl no one will believe you until you inflict harm or suicide. Even worse when you self harm they think you're "asking for attention" and when you die they feel guilty. It sucks maaannnn
