I like this story a lot but it's sad to see alot of people hate the uke tho
God forbid a guy has flaws
Misaki's feelings of inferiority and jealousy was valid because imagine working hard, spending hours perfecting your craft, only for someone who put the same amount of effort and then do it BETTER and sometimes even faster too. That's frustrating right? I've felt that before. We're only human after all.
Did that justify the way Misaki hurt Kaname tho? Of course not. Misaki shouldn't have lashed out at him like that. But I think they needed that in order to grow. Because it was then (after some reflection and reminding) that Misaki realized that he loved kaname and he loved creating with him. And it's not like kaname took him back immediately too. Misaki apologized, vowed to get back on the path, work hard and never give up again. He realized that the jealousy he was holding held him back, so he let go. Kaname even recognized that. The opportunity to invite misaki to work with him at his new company was right there. They got together again once Misaki got up on his feet again and is working for another company, doing what he loves. Everyone makes mistakes, we aren't perfect. Misaki's growth was a slow one, but hey kaname is happy and so is Misaki. What else matters. It really isn't about "deserving better" only you know what you want and what you deserve after all.
