We don’t like sir mugo cause he plays on manipulating emotions. He knows our baby feels immense respect for him and will do most things to keep him happy so he uses that. He changes his tone of voice and the way he looks at him when he’s disapproving of something (gummies) and he shows overly pleased expressions when he likes something (cookies). You may not see it as manipulation but as someone who grew up abused in a narcissistic home, this literally is what my mum did to me. From a young age, I had to watch emotions and tone of voice and every other kind of non verbal communication possible. At least bitchy mugo is honest about his intentions and says it as it is. Sir mugo is trying to kick the other two out but the other two are not bad at all. One is starving and the other is forced to bear all the pain the other two know nothing about because he’s the one that’s always there. He’s even known as the doubtful mugo. He doesn’t trust anyone anymore. There’s no way he’s the manipulator when he himself hates deception.

The other two are definitely bad the beast is the reason they need sacrifices in the first place bc he must eat. Than jerk mugo is pretty self explanatory since he quite literally forces himself on Ja Heon and manipulates him just how when the other god spoke to him he forced himself onto Ja Heon simply cause he was upset at was being said and the earlier chapters I’m pretty sure called him the bad one and it was said that jerk mugo went out of his way to cause chaos. Sir mugo seems that the best thing for Ja Heon is to not be around any of them since he cannot control when he comes out and the other 2 are unpredictable. And I don’t see how that is manipulating? Mugo doesn’t like the gummies and he tells him he doesn’t like them the same way any other person would. He tells them they’re not good and you shouldn’t speak to them they’re bad luck. Than him being pleased with the cookies is simply I think cause it’s the only way he can come out since he did mention he can’t come out frequently. And the manipulation with the positive and negative things Jerk mugo does that. When he doesn’t like something ja Heon does he gets very upset so he doesn’t do it. Than he’ll do things to “appease” Ja Heon. I don’t see how sir mugo simply telling him he doesn’t like the gummies is manipulation when the other has done the same thing. Also jerk mugo just yells at him when he does something he displeases which is also a very manipulative thing to do.

I’ll correct myself here they called him the dubious one but even than I think my point still stands bc the words are meant to describe them. Sir mugo is benevolent so he attempts to protect ja Heon and has shown good intentions while jerk mugo the dubious one has shown to be exactly that. Some synonyms for dubious is uncertain, unpredictable or untrustworthy. Jerk mugo has shown to be exactly that. He always makes ja Heon feel uncertain about how he feels about him. Sometimes he’s nice and kind to ja Heon than he quickly does something malicious or spiteful soon after that makes ja ja Heon feel uncertain about jerk mugo.

Starving “monster” mugo is the baby. That means he wasn’t the first one. Benevolent mugo was first since he’s the oldest. Do you know how DID comes about and how it works? My ex had it so I actually have first hand experience with it since both him and his therapist explained it to me. DID comes about during traumatic experiences where the brain cannot tolerate what’s happening so it creates a separate persona to tackle the traumatic experience. This is of course a very extreme way of the brain handling it which is why most people get ptsd instead aka brain can handle but can’t process so it’s stuck in buffering mode. I have that one. The first personality to come about is usually the protector of the group. It’s more aggressive and more doubtful and distrusting. The next ones that follow vary but as in the case of mugo and my ex, it’s a more primal and youthful version. A child who wants what it couldnt have. That’s why monster mugo is gluttonous. Mugo as a 3 person entity is lustful due to alpha status and is very comfortable “taking care” of omegas since that’s literally what alphas in his time period were taught to do. Yes, ideally, he should have learnt consent but considering the era he’s from and considering sacrifices aren’t actually meant to last and this whole arrangement was created in HIS era where children were bought and sold like clothing and furniture, he wouldn’t know anything different. He was given a sacrifice of which to him is akin to property. He was given free reign of whatever he wanted to do with said property. The reason sir mugo wants to kick the other two out is because he no longer has a threat against him and he’s found a man who will do whatever he wants and is an omega he literally groomed from young childhood to be his sacrifice. I’m not sure how you missed that but he came to see him in early childhood and told him he’s the one he wanted. When people with DID integrate the separate personas, they become who they once were aka the first persona, the oldest one. Mugo would become sir mugo. Doubtful mugo doesn’t want that because HE went through pain so the others didn’t have to. HE killed those sacrifices so he didn’t have to. HE let stranger after stranger into his home and into his bed for needs that he started fulfilling so the others didn’t have to. Benevolent mugo is only benevolent because he switches with doubtful mugo when he doesn’t want his hands dirty. That’s why he’s manipulative. He’s supposed to be the main host and he’s letting his second do all the hard work while taking all the credit and while dissing the third without fully understand it’s because needs aren’t being met that need to be met. Notice he only eats when monster mugo eats. He’s starved the rest of the time because he believes he doesn’t require food as a god. As for the well god, he’d say anything to not be shoved into the well again. Just like a genie would say anything to stay OUT of his magic lamp.

I have a good grasp of how it works and it’s not the same with every person. Your applying the way your ex’s DID worked and how they behaved when that is a personal experience that varies by person. Not every person’s alters will maneuver in that same way. What you described for Your ex is completely accurate to them but you can’t apply that here since 1. It’s a manhwa/manga for all we know so far this could possibly be 3 people who were forced to share a body upon godhood and 2. One persons DID can’t describe another person’s. You say sir mugo is the first one (potentially main personality) cause he’s the oldest when that isn’t entirely accurate. Some DID cases have some where one of the alters act Elderly or older but that doesn’t mean they are the “main personality”. Than you say that jerk mugo takes on the pain and does the dirty work so the other two don’t. What dirty work has jerk mugo done so far that that starving mugo hasn’t done. As of now we understand that starving mugo is the one who eats the sacrifices. So he’s most likely the one who is killing the sacrafices as well. We’ve also scene starving mugo share a bed with ja Heon to and for the most part consensually. So it’s not like he’s doing it so the others don’t have to cause so far we’re lead to believe that starving mugo already does those we things like that as well; considering he is described as the beast or the monster and he is the one who needs the sacrafice to eat. I believe that jerk mugo definitely went through things for the other two in terms of suffering bc it is implied but I don’t believe he does the “dirty work” for them. With jerk mugo your saying that he allowed Strangers into his bed for the other two. As of now were led to believe that most people can’t even go into the house and the people who did were taken care on the spot. So what strangers would he allow in his bed that he didn’t want there already Ja Heon is a anomaly to this rule. So any person before him that Jerk mugo would’ve slept with would’ve been on his own accord bc he wanted to. He didn’t need to take strangers into his bed since they couldve just been killed and eaten since they’re a valid sacrifice. Like I said Ja Heon is the exception to this bc of Sir Mugo. had he not done what he did Ja Heon would likely had be part of that cycle. If sir mugo groomed him to be a sacrafice why would he not just let the other two eat Ja Heon? I believe that sir mugo influenced Ja Heon to be able break the bonds the between all 3 of them that restrict them. Which it is working thus far Usually with DID this (isn’t always the case) you typically don’t remember what the other alter did before the switch. However In one case with jerk mugo and monster mugo. Jerk mugo remembered everything that happened with monster mugo and Ja Heon. another Example is where jerk mugo wanted to take control but couldn’t. In both instances jerk mugo was frustrated and confused bc this has never happened before. it’s implied it’s bc of ja Heon and the bonds between them are breaking. I don’t believe sir mugo he wants to get rid of the other two but rather break the bonds so they can switch on their own accord and not have to have a trigger to do so. Which that mostly applies to just sir mugo and best mugo bc they seem to not just be able to appear off rip unlike Jerk mugo. If anything jerk mugo has shown to want to “get rid of”or surpress the other two and has shown several times that he has no desire to even let the other two even speak or come out. Sir mugo as of now and what we know of has no control to when he can come out and says himself he cannot come out often. So when you say he switches so jerk mugo can do his dirty work he can’t even do that. Nor does he want to bc he said he wanted to protect the sacrifices. None of the mugos have to do what the other says and all of them are bound to do what they want. Also sir mugo doesn’t even come out enough for him to tell Ja Heon to do anything. Mind you sir mugo had asked for Ja Heon to be able to leave. I doubt if he wanted to use Ja Heon as a threat to the other two he would’ve asked for Ja Heon to be excused from being a sacrafice and be able to leave. The only reason he is still there is bc of jerk mugo. Also they don’t eat cause the other two don’t need to. I doubt either one of them actually cooked anything bc before Ja heon got there everything was rotten and the kitchen was terrible. So it’s definitely true that the other two don’t need to eat but sir mugo chooses to and jerk mugo is repulsed by it. Sir mugo has done nothing so far that implies that he has done anything out of ill will.
