Well its another universe where sex toys look modern and more advanced despite their era,plus if you really think about ,we always had them lol yeah
i felt the same… its too out of place in comparison to the overall aesthetic!! i wished it had a more traditional look to it. not ALL devices were as advanced as modern toys, but bright pink silicone and some of the other plastic came off a bit too strong. i expected more wood, leather, natural animal fabrics, and metals
I am well aware that it is a different universe and that there were sex toys and stuff like that in the 1800s, but it still throws me off. The clothes, the buildings, the social structure etc. feels so old-timey, that when I see silicone dildos in the sex shop it pulls me out off the story.
exactly!! the whips and such were fine, but those pink ahh silicone dildos in the sex shop
I think the only thing I don't really love about this, is how the sex equipment looks so modern. It pulls me out of the story.
But I don't know if it's just me..
