She was clearly poisoned

Shuden you're killing me. You know the dude's a poison master and when you wife faints after being grazed by his knife, you wonder if it was from shock??? And you're mad that all the physicians can't figure out why she fainted??? Has the thought that she was poisoned not even crossed your mind? I love this series, but man I feel like the characters keep getting dumber. It's like once Alban held his coup, the author gave up.

Sorry for the negativity in the comment section. This is just driving me crazy ( ̄∇ ̄")

ML doesn't even recognize the guy, and if the doctors can't find anything wrong why can he, that's how unique the poison was

and for all he knows FL could had been cursed instead, his not an all knowing

Okay you're right about the whole recognizing thing. Reread the previous chapters and I realized I mistook the guy they read the report to as Shuden, but it's actually some person working at the palace who looks nothing like him. Idk how I messed that up ( ̄∇ ̄")

Either way, I still stand by the point that he should've thought about poison if someone falls unconscious from a small cut. He's fought in wars too, so it's not like he's never had the opportunity to see someone get poisoned. It's wild to just think they were shocked, especially when it's someone as strong-willed as Valia.

I don't expect them to know the poison, but the fact that no one has even guessed it was poisoning is wild to me. Or even a curse like you suggested.

And yeah he's not all knowing, it just irked me because it's truly a simple suspicion. I bet if I did a survey of just that scene of her getting attacked and fainting, a vast majority of the participants would think the dagger was laced.

Also I started writing that comment that before ch116 was posted, so my concern about Shuden is now midigated. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
(I still stand by the fact that the characters are slowly getting dumber, tho)

In ch116, the priests are told by Shuden that she was poisoned by a poison master. So he either drew that conclusion between chapters, or he did so during ch115 and the author just withheld that information to add a suspenseful cliffhanger.

Thanks for pointing out my error in a non-argumentative way!
