for real. i HATE THIS WITH MY ENTIRE BEING. each time i feel things will improve, it actually takes a turn for the worst. i don't care anymore. i hate both dan and joo. i feel ashamed for still giving in to my curiosity and reading the next uploaded chapters. fucking hate this shit.

no like the jaekyung has to watch over him forced proximity plotline is pissing me OFF. especially knowing people who are in similar situations to dan where life has put them in a position where they need to take care of their loved ones this portrayal of that is so insulting. like yes the stress could feel like it's too much and yes it might consume people, but they aren't fucking pushovers. I don't know why dan is even concerned about what jaekyung means when he says he needs to take care of himself. thinks: "oh he's saying that because he only wants my body, I'll just give that to him then." then says: "it's not like you're worried about me." no response. "see. *looks disappointed*" WTF IS GOING ONNNNN
FOR REAL! Depression and alcoholism coming down when grandma is gone would make sense, but right now as his grandma is still alive?? Makes no fucking sense
I took care of my grandpa on his last days/months and I had lots of love for him just like Dan, NEVER did it cross my mind "you know what Imma drink all the alcohol in the house"
Stop eating because of stress, sure. Not sleeping well, valid. Becoming and alcoholic and completely neglecting your grandma on her last days, very out of character and SO stupid
this is the same bs nothing has changed other than dan catching feelings the first time around. dan still puts himself down to cater to jaekyung's wants because he believes he owes him. unless this stupid debt paying off your grandma's bills plotline is fulfilled first I will still hate the direction this story is going. really thought we were in for something different in s2 but just like s1 it's gonna be 10% plot about the relationship 90% smut that follow the same outline. also just on the smut, it's gotten so formulaic I'm sooo tired of it. the beginning of s2 actually had some motion but since then we've gone downhill and now jaekyung has to "save dan from himself." it's ridiculous and kinda out of character. yes dan fears being without his grandma, but if he drinks himself to death no one would be there for her. he's def depressed, but I would have rathered that the author made dan's character this way after her death. all it does is rationalize dan needing jaekyung and I hate it I hate it I hate it. it's so toxic too the author is basically saying without jaekyung (his abuser) he would be dead and that's the most fucked up part of this story, not even the abuse sends that message from s1.
