lemme get on my soap box real quick

I actually feel really bad for Lyle here because he clearly wants to propose to Ash and wants to think it through and find a ring size, romantic setting, the perfect moment, etc. People are always yapping about how Lyle needs to learn how to communicate (which he is doing btw) but that does NOT AT ALL apply here. People spend MONTHS planning the perfect proposal all the time. He's had, what, a week? Two? Lyle isn't treating Ash badly, he's just clearly shy, blushing and avoiding telling him something. I dont know why he's gonna get "punished" in order to force him to say something he's feeling shy about? I feel bad bc he's not gonna get the chance to make a really special moment for no other reason than Ash is being nosy.

And when are these two gonna get a safe word because this chapter was clearly coercive. I have a feeling this is about to be insane levels of dubcon until Lyle can't take it anymore and blurts out that he wants to get married to make the scene stop
