I see some ppl don’t like my comment. Thing is it’s the truth and many ppl go through it on the daily. People pretend to be someone that everyone loves but deep down they’re the most disgusting, pathetic, hateful, and manipulative person ever. Which is why this counts as a ‘Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing’ concept.
Ik you guys wanted him to be the better Mugo but it’s unrealistic to expect for things to go your way. And unrealistic for you to expect a split of someone else’s mind to be better than them when in all likelihood it’s just them with a different outer shell. The truth can be ugly and hurts a lot, which is why most ppl hate listening to it.

I do like most of everything else you mentioned tho, good food for thought lol, I just say that he seems like a protector bc of the most recent chapter, since with real DID personality disorder (very loosely referencing this bc this is fiction and I doubt the author is fully basing it off DID, I’m just using it for reference), there’s usually protector personalities that switch when the host is in “danger”, and since jerk mugo mentioned the others don’t know abt being trapped in confined spaces then perhaps he is protecting them from it? Just my little tidbit
I love a good ‘Wolves in Sheep’s clothing’ concept, it shows how easy people will fall for the ‘good guy’ act if they see someone else doing the bad first. That’s what most fell for, you seen him being the “good” Mugo and saw jerk Mugo being a bad guy to him first and monster Mugo being the neutral Mugo. But in all fairness they’re just one being split into different parts, none of them are good, bad/a jerk, or a child like being. They are the same person, splits will always have things in common and there will always be something that connects them, he’s a jerk, but ofc a jerk can be childish and seem good.
My theory is tht Jerk Mugo was the original and the his personality was split in a accident, causing one that seemed to be a “better him” and the other that was his “childishness” and him just sharing his body.
