dan is literally a depressed alcoholic. he needs help, not a fuck buddy. and if JK is his guardian, he needs to actually do something to help and say no to meaningless sex or he needs to drop him and leave him alone. but he's too stubborn to admit he cares. dan has continuously asked him if he cares and to not take care of him and JK keeps persisting. dan isn't the confused one, and he suffers bc his life is shit, and JK makes it worse. let's not act like dan isn't the victim here. yes he may seem annoying or confusing right now, but again, he's a depressed alcoholic dealing with a dying grandma, and a confused asshole who doesn't know how to communicate.

Why do you think Dan is so untrusting in the first place? Why do you think he keeps on jumping the gun? Maybe because JK has only ever used him for his body. Why would he listen to him?
