but basically the two are cursed and the time loop situation does NOT get resolved.... easily at least there is a 2nd novel but this manga only covers the 1st one im guessing... bcz ive read the raws and its nearing the end of volume 1 of the novel
i’ve also heard this, but OP says it has a happy ending — how come you’re saying different things? but maybe you two mean that the manga just decided to make it different from the novel

I won't go to deep but I will tell u the key points I read from the novel spoiler.
They r on their 6th loop.
Mc of this loop will die and ml will be the one going back in time to 5-4 year old.
He will work quick and make it so that fls family standing is better so he can easily marry her.
This time he knows what fl sacrificed . Ur love not even remembering u and stuff.
Fl in the 7th and the last loop does not remember anything.
This time ml has a clear grasp of the situation.
It's actually all because of the dragon tree's curse.
Some first years were playing under the tree but they accidentally break the branch . Scared they burn the branch in the common room. Smelling it's sweet burning smell kills people so I think one of the kids died. And it expecially targets couples. I hope u remember the dragon trail being discussed in a chapter of the manga. So they where cursed because of this.
But to see whether The love is true or not they need a judge and that is Miguel.
He remembers all of their life's and sometimes he would try to stop their fate but that would kill them quicker.
Now because of ml everyone has a happy ending in their last loop I am even talking about the side couples.
The kids do get punished for it by the herb prophesied.
