I think you have misunderstood my original intent with my comment. I can understand why people are upset and concerned about Dan's situation, and with Jaekyung's attitude/behaviour. But what is frustrating for me is the perceived refusal to see any character development in the story and it is just a constant hate train for Jaekyung.
I also wish to point out that a lot of the issues that Dan and Jaekyung have is due to their poor ability to communicate with each other. Dan did, in the beginning, agree to having a contractual sexual relationship with Jaekyung in order to help pay his overwhelming debt. Jaekyung also was not aware that Dan had, from what I understand, little experience with regards to sex. Jaekyung was used to experienced sexual partners that he would usually pay for on nights before he had a fight. He did, eventually, try to make sure that Dan was also enjoying the sex as well.
Jaekyung also did not need to pay off the loan sharks or for Dan's grandmother's cancer treatment, and while it could probably be seen as a measure to further control Dan, I think, at least with regards to Dan's grandmother, he does like her. It became obvious to me also that Jaekyung had started catching feelings for Dan before the whole thing with Heesung, which i will admit, was a mess, but in that end scene that finally chased off Heesung, Jaekyung had made sure that Dan was unaware of the situation, and saw to his needs when Dan expressed that the headphones and blindfold etc was too much for him. When Jaekyung seemed to realise that he might be catching feelings, he lashed out and did what he could to push Dan away.
I also think that Jaekyung has a past where he needed to develop the personality that he has now based off things i have seen through the story. He is an asshole, I won't disagree with that, but the entire thing is not black and white.

I thank you for being nice and answering me politely.
I did not misunderstood your intent, and I stand with people who think there's not much character development. For me this isn't a question of opinion. We've read JJ's thoughts.
"He wasn't aware Dan had little experience with sex" - It's more like he didn't care? Dan wasn't a whore - he wasn't find in a brothel. He was working as a physical therapist since the beginning.
Jaekyung might have started to develop feelings towards Dan before Heesung, but he himself didn't wasn't aware of it, he didn't "realize" anything, all his actions after it were based on his own instincts, chasing his own benefit. He didn't only push Dan away, he disrespected him AS A PERSON multiple times just because.
Jekyung made Dan unaware of the situation (and he STILL doesn't know how he was HUMILIATED that way) not because he cared about him, but I think because he didn't want to deal with it. He could care less about Dan on that moment.
Honestly, I hope y'all don't have any evil people around you so you don't have any excuse to abusive behavior like this. Everything you said was because you were too kind, Jaeyung didn't show anything that good
"Oh, but his past..." Nobody Cares.
Yeah, he's a BL character, and he's little by little finding his way, I'm screaming myself every chapter because it also amuses me that he's finding his heart. But I understand people that can't see it. I totally, 100000% understand it. The guy's a piece of shit (now).

I mean, we do see Jae as a person with a crappy ego. We recognize his flaws. We recognize it in both characters. When he does something indefensible (e.i pouring soda on Danny), no one is jumping to the rescue. Just reader claiming how much they hate the character(s) ALONG with the story altogether. It makes no sense to hate a story then continue reading it. There's criticizing a character and hating a character. People confuse the two and even merge them together.
these comments, lol. ironically, i can see the character development happening here, even if others cant
