i held on, gaslighting myself that maybe what he felt was fatherly/brotherly affection for a 13yo abused girl. but the chapter with the foreign emperor was my breaking point. all this mariage talk and him being like ''you haven't realized yet that you're in love'' COME ON. if the author wanted to make a romance story, make her older!!! or do a time skip idc just not this creepy set up. a naive traumatized child under the care of the first man who ever showed her kindness who happens to be 'in love' with her... isn't that just a grooming story ??? ew
