I don’t think he should’ve offered such power to her, but I’m glad that he did. And also, I’m glad that she did not take him up on it. Can you imagine? Such a one-sided sacrifice? I personally believe that the development would’ve definitely taken the story into a darker realm and that she was willing to compromise a friends life force like that, even if he had lived through that to hurt him like that, would’ve made her closer to being like her nemesis. I’m so glad she avoided that.
Oh totally agree! I thought he would push his version of “right action” onto her in the name of saving/worrying about her. Thankfully he supported her and im really gland both of them have healthier boundaries with each-other now
