i feel you. like i get the esper is strong and all and the guide is weak asf and is like a stress relief for the esper, same w omegaverse. idk why but they make the receiving end weak asf and no redeeming characteristics. the verse i like is hunterverse (?) where both of them are equally strong
I just finished reading a guideverse where the guide i strong and the esper is strong too. The esper is the uke in this case. It was such a good read, the art is pretty as well. So I don't find it cringe or anything. Plus in their universe it's not necessary to have sex or anything just hand touch is more than enough. Try it, you might like it but if not then oh well

I hate Guide verses they're literally so hard for me to get through everyone I've attempted to read I had to stop before finishing. I don't know what it is it's just extremely hard to get through and cringy it might be worse than any other verse for me. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
