Hm... I feel conflicted. Hailey/Yijae's character is full of contradictions. I don't understand why she felt the need to "distance" herself from the king, because what? she's afraid of rejection? The king likes her enough at this point to tolerate the fact that she's basically being dishonest. And even if she's afraid of being excluded/isolated, she's still a Duncan, and she could have a completely different life here...
What makes this very different from other transmigration manhwa is that she's very, very attached to her trauma and right now I don't see how they will solve this. I guess Rodrick will have to step up otherwise this won't go anywhere. Right now it's just them bantering - sleep together - exorcism - rinse and repeat.
