and if you don't mind BL, "Necromancer Survival", "Dreadful Night"
of the 4 I listed, Necromancer Survival is most similar. But the novel is more in depth and the webtoon is in limbo for S3.

I just read Dreadful Night because of this AND IT'S CRAZY GOOD!!! I def reco it. Although, I wouldn't say it's "not the characters that are evil"... ML kind of has a twisted moral compass HAHAHAHAHHAA
