It could be that he's just very dumb or child-like when it comes to 'big words'.
i remembered while reading that asian languages (tho many, really) have special words with specific meanings or are just not used often, so people have to actually sit in class and learn the definitions of those words.
I know japanese often incorporates that when there is a school setting or such. So maybe the original script used a word that Guwon simply didn't know/understand.
We ARE talking about a world setting in which muscles and street smarts or such are MUCH more important than having intricate language meaning in your mind. So that would make sense to me. XD
He's the leader likely not just due to sheer power, or so I'd asume anyway. So I think this option would make sense.

Hmm I'd say that's representative of most languages, where more complex or formal words are only used in specific settings (e.g., the way an academic paper is written is absolutely not representative of typical spoken language).
It seems like you're saying that Frakenjushi (lol) hasn't had formal education, but is likely really intelligent anyway. You're right, you don't become a leader when you're dumb.
Not sure how that translates to not knowing about sex haha, loads of immature people have sex. Not a terribly difficult concept to figure out.

Oh definitely. Each language has those words, some more than others.
Just yesterday I learned of the english word aplomb. I have NEVER heard this word once in my life. And despite not being native english, speaking, I think many poule native would also have that on their list of unknown words.
Which makes me wonder if MC used a more poetic or schoolarly type of word in the original.
Frankenjussi is definitely gonna be his new community name, no doubt. That's just gold. XD
Yep, that's about it. They DO live in a world where survival has a higher need than education, so I suspect he just never had the need. Yet his leadership qualities might be top notch. (I hope we get to see those in action in the camp, that would be interesting.)
He likely does know. Or at least he doesn't strike me like the naive maiden type of character that has never touched anyone just to fulfill sexual desires.
Then again, there are people without the need for it. So that's also an option. Which would also create an interesting dynamic for the story now that I think about it.

i agree! perhaps some nuances were lost in translation. but even if he understands how sex works, i don’t think he would be so rough or aggressive the first time they’re together—especially since the MC seems hesitant and even mentioned that he has never been with a man before. there was no foreplay or anything— which felt a bit off cuz i see ML as the sweet gentle type yk. But then again, we’re still early in the story, so we don’t know much about the ML’s true personality yet or how he would be in bed :]
ngl the dream feels so ooc to me. cuz frankenjussi is kinda immature. i kinda expect him to have not much knowledge of how sex would work either...
