Why doesn't she go to Karnon and say "Hey, you know my powers? They are actually his. Want to secure power? You know what to do." I know the emperor will only see their relationship as necessary to maintain their power but at least it will be kicking him where it hurts because it's not HIS family who maintains the royal power, it's actually Ethan.
