Taming the Tiger is ‘sort of’ like what you’re looking for, aka attractive bad bitch uke, and the cinnamon roll of a seme, and the fact they both communicate with each other.
(considering the heavy amount of boombayah in it lmao, but that doesn’t take away from how precious the story is, especially the ending itself.)

It ‘is’ a bit sad later on, but the ending definitely makes up for it imo, and makes it a masterpiece in itself.

Otherwise, what I’m rereading again is Never Understand, its concept is actually kinda cool! aka popular attractive ML and quote on quote ‘unattractive’ unpopular MC, and it’s just.. ugh, I love it so much.
Love that it differs from the MC being a typical pretty boy face, and the ML isn’t a completely generic prick and actually ‘has’ a backstory and the side couple you can root for.
I'll read after i catch up to our sunny days but butt wdym our sunny days is all wholesome, i cried two times alr and it's been 40 chapters only (ㄒoㄒ)
It’s wholesome in the sense that the main couple’s relationship is a bright neon green flag, which is a rarity in itself with BL’s.
So seeing them acting like a genuine, happy loving couple that isn’t beating the absolute shit out of each other, manipulating each other, and just being red flags toward one another is what makes it wholesome as hell to me.
Plus the baby is just the extra little sprinkles on top, especially with the fact they didn’t make the ML jealous of the baby thank god, since I could see most BL’s doing it for laughs, ugh.

Well, in Never Understand our boy is quote on quote ‘ugly’ physically, and ends up slowly developing a relationship with an attractive popular boy in their school who’s more then meets the eye, and in total the story has 3 couples, aka the main couple, first side couple (I sort of wished the second couple had a spin off) and the third side couple which.. I hated the third couple since it never fully addressed the big fucking elephant in the room between them.
Never Understand doesn’t have smut either, instead lots of close kisses and making out, since they’re high schoolers.
Now with OSD, I’m fully ready to push an old ass man down the stairs if he harms a single hair on any of the squad’s head.
Alien in my closet on the other hand is about an alien being hunted on earth, who’s staying with the MC in his apartment and— I’m gonna be honest with you, it’s kinda kinky as fuck with the whole BDSM thing going on.
