i think its like. she kinda lost her mind.. she feels responsible for ruining his life, so she wants him to be free from her. hurting his emotional state is better than him dieing. they already had a death in the mansion fire
She's trying to make him hate her so he distance himself on his own. Being nice to him wouldn't really make that happen. And if she talk nicely about it, pure hearted Roger won't leave him alone despite the risk and the FL worried it might cause his life next time. please think for a bit.

Yes you are right and i too defended her the whole time bc of that, but now I‘ve started to feel disgusted, she does what she has to do but i dont like it. The plot is stuck on this place and doesnt go on. Like OK you do everything so that he hates you but it has to STOP at some point and the plot should move on…but it doesnt!!!
I get your point if you are fed up with it., tbh You're right about plot not moving on but then again it is Manhwa.. and mahwa's always took too long to get over 1 plot, sometimes a season of 40 chapters didn't even resolve their first hurdle at all and it's to be continued next season.. at the normal rate, we were going to be given plot clarity around ch.50+ then season end then author rest then next season start xD
Can the FL please stop treating Roger like shit??? I beg you! Her hurting him is most of the time soo unnecessary, he does not deserve all this. I really tried to understand the fl but i dont want to defend this behavior anymore. The only one who deserves such treatment is the Crown Prince
