Did you mean that the title refers to sex? Swallow you whole could also mean about the personalities trying to dominate each other you know, as in consuming until only the strongest is left
The title si probably more related to de fact that the god si a serpent, ando they it their prey whole, lake they don't chow

I thought the same at first, it was too literal as you said “too direct” but maybe there’s more to it ;For example every persona swallows the other one entirely when they come out or like @Aster wrote they keep swallowing and dominating one another until the strongest one is left !
I'm loving this story but why is the title called Swallowing You Whole ┗( T﹏T )┛ it is so off putting
