Kinda invested in the mistery, very repulsed by ML's actions (the cameras and control issues). He clearly doesn't see himself as a parental guide but no quite a guardian or a keeper but why?? And Mc's always saw him as a man, a saviour, and wants to do this and that with him...??? Pretty sure ML's gonna let him do whatever he wants with him, kiss, sleep together. He can't say 'no' to MC. But doesn't seem like grooming because ML's just takes care of his education and well being till now but he's also perfectly capable of crossing the line that will make them become more intimate. Maybe he has being waiting to MC to grow up, he's 20 now, that's a predatory behavior... He's so controling of EVERY aspect of Mc's life that I just wish it's because he has a very dangerous job and he can't trust anything and anybody. But this author likes his Mc's a little crazy and unapologetic so who knows.
