I think Raymond needs to keep making connections with more students, the deeper the better, because then other people will eventually realize what is happening and even if those guys are filthy rich some of the other kids in school must have some sort of outside connection that might help expose the villains.
Also, I think what ruined the other guys was the isolation aspect (and the SA, ofc). It's really hard to keep o fighting when there's no one by your side who believe you and supports you.
