Caesar is one of those characters who were harmed as a child and grew up in inhumane conditions. Without love, parents, and a safe space. His whole life was a struggle for survival. He was kidnapped several times, his own father sent people to hunt him down. The state of his body shows how much he has been through. No one who was raised in such conditions is normal. He has no right to be like that.

Despite this, after meeting Leewon, Caesar behaved like a gentleman. He was patient and tried to please Leewon. Let me remind you that up until the unfortunate chapter (~40), Cezar didn't do anything that Leewon wouldn't have liked. Unfortunately, at the moment when something didn't go his way, his instinct, which he had lived with until then, kicked in. If someone doesn't listen, they need to be locked up - that's what his father did to him. The only kind of "love" he knew.

I'm not defending him, because what he did when things didn't go his way was terrible, but he's also not one of those characters who do it for fun or because they are sadists. For Caesar, it was normal behavior in response to disobedience. Despite everything, it was clear how much he desired Lee's attention and his affection. He desired his love and wanted it to be available only to him. So that Leewon would look only at him - for the first time, he longed for someone's warmth. The warmth he never had.

Because of all this, I am unable to judge Caesar like other characters who are red flags. Personally, I think our Jaekyung from Jinx is more of a red flag than Cezar... Besides, the progress that Cezar is making is great. Together with Leewon, they will definitely create an ideal couple that supports and is there for each other.

Let's not forget that Leewon was also enchanted by Cezar from the very first chapters. However, he couldn't imagine a future with him because he saw that Caesar's world was completely different. However, I am glad that he gave Caesar a chance, and I am sure he will not regret it, because the Caesar we see in the last chapter is not the same Caesar he was at the beginning.
