Although yes, Rick (second ML) did stepped away and respected MC whilst he's still dating ML. But the fact that he was hell-bent into digging into him after seeing them kiss, which is not his business as a friend, speaks how much he loves him that he forgets where he should stand. He's tolerable, I guess, but I still hate how he basically manipulated and took MC for granted with his confession. MC is also basically a pushover and naive around him, so he knew.
They don't deserve each other. I hate all of them. MC is such a pushover and cannot stand up for himself. He's easily swayed. He doesn't know what boundaries are and accept any affection targeted towards him. He's so vulnerable, that's why both the MLs can get away having their ways on him.
The ML is a jerk. He's a static character and the art cannot do his tasteless personality, any justice. He's handsome but bland. He remained the same throughout the story. Did not even make my heart flutter for once.
The second ML is also unnecessary. He should've been better off as a friend who had feelings. But no, he's also a jerk who manipulated the MC, just to get him to like him. His reactions toward MC liking another guy is such a red flag. To think they were supposedly "childhood friends". It made me think that they were dating, or friends w benefits, and that MC was cheating, at first. Not until MC cleared out the "misunderstanding" that they were just "childhood friends".
The Melissa girl is the only tolerable character, ngl. She stood up for herself and still helped both of them. The Jaee existence is also felt important but wasn't emphasized enough.
TOO MANY DETAILS THAT COULD'VE MADE THIS BETTER, GRR. Oh well, whatever. I thought this would be good because of the art. Definitely a disappointment.
