they didn't even grow up together. in the novel, fl's father took him in bc he was in love with rowoon's father. he took care of rowoon but didn't take care of fl bc she wasn't his true daughter.

honestly, if anything the final ml will probably be blond guy. this artist loves him to bits and actually changed the story to fit with his character better. even fiance does not get much (his personality and looks seem to have changed from the novel). many things changed so anything can happen at this point, but if the artist decides not to change the ml from rowoon... i don't see the point of gassing up blond guy.

okay, so there are a ton of names and things to remember but i won't get into that bc it's kind of complicated, but the overall reason is bc he was working AGAINST fl (and fl's twin). it's not explicitly stated he went to prison, but he confessed all his crimes to what he did to her/them. others say he's atoning for what he did and lives a rather normal life at the end

well, like said earlier they already changed quite a lot from the novel. in the novel, rowoon blackmails, stalks, and threatens fl, plans her death, is the type to be "if i can't have you then no one can", etc. yes, she knows (bc she obviously ends up with him, lol); the novel had multiple povs, so you get to see into their heads more (rowoon becomes frustrated (?) with himself bc he loves fl and his emotions go on the deep end so he doesn't know exactly what to do...). at first, she rejects him bc her father found out of their pining, but he doesn't know about that bit so he just continues to pursue her.

iirc, fl and fiance had an agreement to break off their engagement already, then rowoon will use this time to get closer to fl. many things from the novel didn't happen in the previous chapters, so most likely things will change. we'll see.

well, it's weird bc he's kind of both at the same time? after all the things fl go through, it's almost always rowoon who takes care of her, but i think that's where he's manipulative. he uses good/open times to get close to fl whereas fiance and blond guy miss their chances.

Yeah, it's hilarious how they think these two are "siblings" when OgSera threatened to kill him, even *breaking a chair on his head* in a flashback, making him seriously bleed (chap. 12)... And when her mom came in and saw it, she basically told him "it's nothing to worry about" when he was practically bleeding all over the floor...). Moreover we see the attitude of Sera's mom when her dad first brought him into their home, in the flashback of chapter 12 (her dad talked about there being "plenty of rooms" in the house), and even when the dad spoke about letting him be a successor, it was always through Eeron's ties to his own bio dad, noever though Sera's dad ever giving him the "Shin" last name (which he never did). In chap. 38, ogSera and her middle school friend talk about Eeron as "the boy living with them" and someone who was "like a boarder or foster kid," so he clearly had a super distant relationship with anyone else except the dad.

The last name thing is important because while Eeron doesn't have the Shin last name, he doesn't even go by his dead bio dad's last name either: to challenge Sera for the succession he would have it much easier if he had the last name of either of the company's two founding partners: his bio dad or Sera's dad. But even though he has yet to claim his bio dad's last name, Sera's dad hasn't given him an easier takeover by legally giving him his last name either, despite wanting him as the successor. That can only mean, Sera's dad never adopted him fully as a Shin, because he wants him to remain his dead best friend's successor, not become his own.
