i think the blond subordinate went back to try and save the captain but got infected by the tentacles or the pink prince infected him and sent him to test how much attachment the blue prince could feel for people close go him… shrug

For those who didn't get the plot.
We have three characters: two princes (blue hair and pink hair) - brothers.
The blond one is the blue-haired one's subordinate, in love with him ever since blue saved his life.
Blue saved his life long ago, when the blond one with torn off limbs was dying in the sand.
Since then, the blond one has been Blue's right hand.
Due to his origin (the eldest prince) and obligations, some parts of the blue-haired one's brain are turned off, for example, those responsible for sexual desire.
His younger brother - the pink-haired one - is pervertedly in love with his own brother and wants to own him, and therefore decided to make an offer to tentacle race.
The blue-haired one crossed the path of a dangerous tentacle race, and the pink-haired one made a deal with them - like, you will take revenge on the blue-haired one by turning on his sexual desire and humiliating him emotionally, and humiliating his pride.
Why Pink sent the blond to fuck his brother is not very clear.
But in the end the pink-haired guy shot the blond and got his brother, who is now capable of sexual desires, for himself.
