Pretty much.
The painting was receiving more attention from Ahjin than he was getting so it had to go (seeing Ahjin all fucked up made him nervous and his attention on the painting further unnerved him so to give himself a (false) sense of security in that Ahjin is his and things are okay he burned it up).
I want to do that to the ML though.
wait why did the ml burned the painting?? is it just to further torture ahjin or is there something else???
